Terms & conditions

These terms cover your use of this website, any application you submit through it, and the services delivered at a Lukeport agent location.

Last updated: 02 Jul 2026 · Lukeport Nigeria Limited

1. Who these terms are between

This website is operated by Lukeport Nigeria Limited (“Lukeport”, “we”), a company registered in Nigeria. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is for

It provides information about Lukeport’s agent banking network, allows applications to become an agent or aggregator, and offers a help channel. It is not a banking platform: you cannot hold money, make payments or complete transactions through this website. All financial services are completed at an agent location, through our partner banks and licensed service providers.

3. Applying to become an agent or aggregator

  • Submitting an application does not create an agency relationship and does not guarantee approval.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information. Applications containing false information will be declined and may be reported.
  • Approval is subject to identity verification, BVN verification, assessment of the proposed trading location, and our agent compliance standard.
  • Applying is free. Lukeport does not charge a fee to apply, to be approved, or to be approved faster. If anyone asks you for such a payment, do not pay it and report it to us.
  • An agency relationship begins only when a written agreement is executed between you and Lukeport.

4. Services at an agent location

Cash deposit, cash withdrawal, account opening, BVN registration and bill payment are delivered through our partner financial institutions and licensed service providers. Those services are governed by the relevant institution’s own terms, which apply in addition to these.

  • Not every location offers every service. Availability depends on the equipment and approvals held at that counter.
  • Charges follow the partner bank’s published agent banking tariff. Agents are required to state the charge before a transaction is carried out.
  • Transaction limits are set by the partner institution and by applicable regulation, not by Lukeport alone.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Do not use this website unlawfully, or in a way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use of it.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its systems or its data.
  • Do not submit another person’s identity details as your own.
  • Do not represent yourself as a Lukeport agent unless you hold a current agreement with us.

6. Accuracy of information

We take care to keep this site accurate, but information here is provided for general guidance. Coverage information indicates where the network operates; it does not guarantee that a particular location is open or able to complete a particular transaction at a particular time.

7. The help channel

The help channel provides general information and may escalate your question to our support team on WhatsApp. It is staffed during published hours only. Answers given through it do not vary the terms of any agreement between you and Lukeport, or between you and a partner institution.

8. Intellectual property

The Lukeport name, logo, brand assets and the content of this site belong to Lukeport or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or use them commercially without our written permission. Agents may use Lukeport branding only as permitted by their agreement.

9. Links to other sites

Where we link to a partner institution or another third party, we are not responsible for their content or their terms. Follow those links at your own discretion.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law. Subject to that, Lukeport is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, or from reliance on general information published on it. Liability in respect of a transaction completed at an agent location is governed by the agreement with the relevant partner institution and by applicable regulation.

11. Reporting fraud

If someone asks you to pay a fee to apply, to resolve a failed transaction, or to restore a counter, that person is not acting for Lukeport. Report it through our help channel with the name and number they used.

12. Data protection

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which is written against the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Our certification and compliance documents are on the compliance page.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will revise the date at the top when we do. Where a change materially affects your rights we will say so instead of relying on you noticing.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
